The Presbyterian Church (USA)is committed to racial equity and reconciliation. The Book of Confessions, which is Part 1 of our constitution, includes two confessions which directly address the issues of race: TheConfession of 1967, birthed out of the Civil Rights Movement in the United States; and, The Confession of Belhar, birthed from South African apartheid in 1986.

The Easter Vigil begins after nightfall on Holy Saturday evening before Resurrection Sunday and marks the occasion of Christ’s passing from death to life. The Easter Vigil is typically a service of light and readings, baptism and eucharist. Included here is a resource to help you observe Holy Saturday from anywhere this year.
